Artificial Intelligence Engine

Comprised of a series of patent-pending technologies developed over years of research, Verifia collects data from 24 different data sources and feeds it into a geolocation engine. The engine uses several autonomous agents (groups of proprietary algorithms and heuristics that are iterative and self-correcting in nature), resulting in a collective artificial intelligence that has the ability to optimize the accuracy of results. One of the ways that the database can do this is by looking at what the probability is of a particular result being correct, then automatically re-running those results that have a high probability of being incorrect. Significantly, this artificial intelligence contains sensors that enable the company to identify when changes to an existing IP location occurs. The InfoScope engine runs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and is constantly verifying and updating its data.

The NetGeo system provides a wide range of intelligence data. With an in-depth knowledge of the Internet space, and a technological focus on IP logic, Verifia has developed processes to map its IP intelligence data to many different types of value-added information. Additionally, a confidence indicator is returned with every basic value in order to indicate the level of certainty associated with each result.

For every IP address, NetGeo's database engine can return the following basic values:

Geographic information : continent, country, state, county, city, postal code, area code, time zone, latitude and longitude

Business information : company, organization, institution, domain name

Network attributes : connection speed, ISP, IP type (static, dynamic, residential, or corporate), anonymous IP

In addition, the InfoScope engine is able to associate data with its basic IP-intelligence to determine:

Over 70 other information fields : language, currency, population, religion, crime rates, even average daily rainfall are among the many values that can be mapped by NetGeo's artificial intelligence engine

Predictive values/indicators : potentially fraudulent or virus-prone IP addresses
