YoungHoon is the chairman and CEO of Daesung Group which, with a history of 55 years, is a pioneer in Korea's energy industry and includes Taegu City Gas Co., Ltd. , Kyoungbuk City Gas Co., Ltd. , YEN Co., Ltd. , Korea Cable TV Kyunggi Center Co., Ltd. , R&R Remodeling Co., Ltd. , Sinai Media Co., Ltd. , Gloria Trading Co., Ltd. , B.I.G. Co., Ltd. , BiNEXT Hi-Tech Co., Ltd. While contributing to the development of domestic energy industry by exploring overseas energy resources and introducing city gas which is environment-friendly, he has been expanding the Group's scope of business to the fields of information, communications, environment and construction. He realized a "debt-free management" by improving financial structure through rational and transparent operation which led the Group to earn a nickname "IMF-free Zone" during the 1997 foreign currency crisis and be praised as having created a new advanced business model. As the Korea representative to ABAC(APEC Business Advisory Council) under APEC, YoungHoon has been demonstrating his outstanding leadership in developing international energy and environmental policies and projects. Recently he was elected chairman of Partnership for Equitable Growth which is implementing the Asia Gas Grid(AGG) project worth eight billion dollars which constructs a gas transmission pipeline from Indonesia to Shanghai, China. As Chairman of Korea City Gas Association, YoungHoon is now leading the privatization of domestic gas business which is one of the critical pending national issues. YoungHoon has a bachelor's degree in law from the Seoul National University and master's degrees in law and business administration respectively from the University of Michigan. He studied international economics as a special student at the Graduate School of Art and Science, Harvard University. He also completed a master's degree course in theology at the Harvard Divinity School.

Marty Sukle
Partner, Alps Investment Research, LLC

Marty serves as the Vice President of Finance and one of three Operating Managers for Alps Investment Research, LLC which serves as the General Partner of Alps Information Technology Fund, LP. His primary focus is on growing early stage information technology companies in the areas of optics, wireless communications and Internet infrastructure and services. Marty is directly involved in the establishment of strategic alliances and the formation of technology partnerships with the portfolio companies and ALPS. He was extensively involved in the organization and formation of ALPS' first venture capital fund. Marty is also involved in corporate strategic business development, finance and is a member of Alps North America executive committee. Prior to joining ALPS, he held various positions at Fujitsu America, Inc. and KPMG. At KPMG, he specialized in the areas of tax and accounting for information technology companies.

Bonwan Koo
Partner LG Venture Investment Inc.

Bonwan travels the world identifying and evaluating new technology trends and companies for LG Ventures. Most recently, he has dealt with companies in Europe, North America, the Mid East, and Asia-Pacific. He has deep experience in the corporate finance and venture capital arenas. His past experience includes corporate accounting management, materials trading, and the development of worldwide market entry strategies for LG International PVC division. He received his B.S. in business administration from the University of Louisville and graduated with an M.B.A. in marketing and finance from U.C. Berkeley.
